I met Elizabeth in Fremont. We wandered around and found some great places for her images. I’ve always called these business marketing portraits, but they are more commonly called brand photography or personal brand photography. They are not quite headshots, not a complete branding session, but something like an environmental portrait in a more editorial style for my clients to use all over. Colliers asked me to take photographs of their Occupiers group. These people came to meet up in Seattle from all over the country and some from other places in the world. The mission was to create a few great, interesting shots of each person in a relatively short amount of time.

Read MoreI met Jacob at Myrtle Edwards Park for his senior portraits. We took some images at Pocket Beach before we walked through the edge of the Olympic Sculpture Park. Then we went to the rooftop deck of Bell Harbor and Pier 66. On the way back, we stopped and tried to create some 90’s inspired images with some teal and red lighting.

Then we met up with some family before we went back to the courthouse for their wedding ceremony with a few sunset portraits on the rooftop deck as well. After the ceremony, we went a couple of blocks over to the Charlotte restaurant at the Lotte Hotel Seattle in the F5 building.

Read MoreFlavia and Bruno are awesome. They both moved from Brazil to Seattle. Then they met and started dating. They both had some family in from Brazil for their wedding at the Seattle Courthouse. We started at the roof of their apartment building, then went to Occidental Square before going to the Seattle Municipal Court for their rooftop ceremony. After the ceremony, we went over the Edgewater and Myrtle Edwards Park for some more portraits.

With Robert, we worked on some images at the waterfront, then he changed clothes and we moved up into the city for some night portraits in the light rain and near-freezing temperatures.
