Brandon has a fantastic story. He is formerly a homeless person with substance abuse issues that now runs an apartment building that provides permanent supportive housing for others that have suffered from homelessness.

I really love Myrtle Edwards as it provides some very cool views of the waterfront with rocks, driftwood, and park settings all just a few minutes walk from very urban looking architectural details and city views. Read MoreI met Sarah downtown for some personal branding photography. Personal branding is new photographer speak for business portraits with a wider range of uses than just a headshot. In the past, I called them environmental portraits, and they are one of my favorite things to shoot. For Sarah, she speaks at conferences and things like that, as well as writing things for people in her industry. We worked on creating portraits of her that mostly made her look fun to go to her speaking engagements.

It is easy to say you want to change things, but it is hard to come up with a plan to make change and to do the work to make it happen. When the opportunity presented itself with the Black Lives Matter movement, instead of shrinking to the back, Josh stepped forward and led marches all over Snohomish and parts of King Counties.
