Kelli and Garren were married on a beautiful fall day in Seattle onboard the MV Skansonia. Keli and Garren are a very fun and funny couple. Their family and friends came together to celebrate on a stationary ferry boat on the north end of Lake Union with views of downtown Seattle across the lake.
Read MoreNoelle and Mike met me at Discovery Park for a windy hike and portrait session. It was a lot of fun, and a lot of hiking as we made our way through the park. They laughed with me, at me, and with each other. It was also the first time I’ve ever taken an engagement portrait featuring a spider. Beautiful place and a great couple.
Read MoreBrenda is a friend of my son, Riley. She goes to North Creek High School. She is smart and funny. She was a pleasure to photograph. We went to downtown Bothell and photographed around City Hall, Bothell Landing, and the nice public walking areas around town.

Read MoreI met Max and his parents at Pop Keeney Stadium in Bothell, the home field for North Creek High School football. Max had some portraits with his helmet and kit that I was happy with as well as portraits around downtown Bothell. Very fun stuff!

Read MoreMy youngest child, Riley, is a senior in high school this year. I took him and a friend down to the Seattle waterfront to find some of my favorite spots for senior portraits this year. I really had a hard time picking just a few because I love every one of the images of him. Haha!

We went down to the Seattle waterfront and hit up a few of my favorite spots for their senior portraits. I love the intense look that Lucas has in some of these images, which for some reason reminds me of a young Mick Jagger. Very cool images with the Seattle skyline and waterfront in the portraits.
Read MoreI met Penelope and her dad at the Seattle waterfront. We had talked about a shoot with her and her car, but that didn’t work out due to a flat tire. What did work out was walking around the waterfront at sunset time and creating some very cool portraits.
Read MoreDanielle and Michael had a beautiful wedding day. They were married at Mary Queen of Peace Church in Sammamish. They weathered a torrential rainstorm as they were moving from the church to their reception at Willows Lodge. The rain held off most of the rest of the day to allow us to get some portraits around the gardens and again in the evening with the lights of the Herb Farm restaurant. They are very fun and nice people that I really enjoyed photographing!
Read MoreI met Garrett, Aleya, and their parents at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park for their senior portraits. It is not very often that I get to photograph twins for their senior portraits. In fact, I’m not sure I ever have! We walked (hiked) all over the park to find cool spots for portraits. We did a few with the whole family, and the two of them, but the vast majority were images of each of them individually. We made some very cool portraits!

Read MoreRuobin & Jeffrey had their micro wedding at the Seattle Municipal Court. It was a a rather cool and slightly rainy day. We visited a rooftop parking garage, the red wall at Seattle City Hall, and a couple courtyards. Also, we had a rooftop wedding in the rain!

I really love Myrtle Edwards as it provides some very cool views of the waterfront with rocks, driftwood, and park settings all just a few minutes walk from very urban looking architectural details and city views. Very fun!
Read MoreI met Sarah downtown for some personal branding photography. Personal branding is new photographer speak for business portraits with a wider range of uses than just a headshot. In the past, I called them environmental portraits, and they are one of my favorite things to shoot. For Sarah, she speaks at conferences and things like that, as well as writing things for people in her industry. We worked on creating portraits of her that mostly made her look fun to go to her speaking engagements.

Read MoreI met Lainey, her mom, dad, aunt, and uncle at Occidental Square in Seattle for her senior portraits. We created portraits around the park, and then headed up to the International District at Hing Hay Park. It was fun to be photographing someplace so close, but new to me. Hing Hay Park was a fun area to shoot. We also found some alleys to play in and created a cool sunset portrait at the end.
