Seattle Senior Portraits | Jace

Jace is a senior at Seattle Prep. He plays tennis and drums. We set up the drum set on a hill at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park for some sunset portraits. After sunset, we went to a tennis court to do some night shots with a racket and some balls. His parents had some fun with throwing some tennis balls at Jace.

Seattle Senior Portraits | Hailey

I met Hailey and her dad at the Woodland Park Rose Gardens for her senior portraits. We walked through the gardens and then down into lower Woodland Park for some images of her on her longboard. Then, we kept walking down to the skate and mountain bike parks. I’m not sure if they are part of Woodland Park or Greenlake. Either way, it was a fun place to shoot!

Seattle Senior Portraits | Angelino

I met Angelino and his mom at Pike Place Market in Seattle for his senior portraits. Angelino goes to Bothell High. We did some in front of the sign, before working our way down to the waterfront. There we hit all the favorites with Pier 62, the Aquarium, and the great wheel before heading to the rooftop of a nearby parking garage to finish off. I love being able to be creative and work with unusual light even if it is smoky orange.

Seattle Senior Portraits at Myrtle Edwards Park | Jacob

I met Jacob at Myrtle Edwards Park for his senior portraits. We took some images at Pocket Beach before we walked through the edge of the Olympic Sculpture Park. Then we went to the rooftop deck of Bell Harbor and Pier 66. On the way back, we stopped and tried to create some 90’s inspired images with some teal and red lighting.

Seattle Senior Portraits | Robert

I met Robert and his parents at the Seattle waterfront. I first met them when I did Robert’s older brother’s senior portraits a couple of years ago. You can see Jack’s drumming portraits here.

With Robert, we worked on some images at the waterfront, then he changed clothes and we moved up into the city for some night portraits in the light rain and near-freezing temperatures.

Seattle Senior Portraits | Lucas

Lucas is a good friend of my son, Riley. We did their images at the same time, but they get their own posts on the blog. We went down to the Seattle waterfront and hit up a few of my favorite spots for their senior portraits. I love the intense look that Lucas has in some of these images, which for some reason reminds me of a young Mick Jagger. Very cool images with the Seattle skyline and waterfront in the portraits.

Richmond Beach Seattle Senior Portraits | Garrett & Aleya

I met Garrett, Aleya, and their parents at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park for their senior portraits. It is not very often that I get to photograph twins for their senior portraits. In fact, I’m not sure I ever have! We walked (hiked) all over the park to find cool spots for portraits. We did a few with the whole family, and the two of them, but the vast majority were images of each of them individually. We made some very cool portraits!

Seattle Senior Portraits | Rece

I met Reese and his mom at Myrtle Edwards Park along the Seattle waterfront. I really love Myrtle Edwards as it provides some very cool views of the waterfront with rocks, driftwood, and park settings all just a few minutes walk from very urban looking architectural details and city views. Very fun!

Seattle Senior Portraits | Lainey

I met Lainey, her mom, dad, aunt, and uncle at Occidental Square in Seattle for her senior portraits. We created portraits around the park, and then headed up to the International District at Hing Hay Park. It was fun to be photographing someplace so close, but new to me. Hing Hay Park was a fun area to shoot. We also found some alleys to play in and created a cool sunset portrait at the end.
