Then we met up with some family before we went back to the courthouse for their wedding ceremony with a few sunset portraits on the rooftop deck as well. After the ceremony, we went a couple of blocks over to the Charlotte restaurant at the Lotte Hotel Seattle in the F5 building.

We started at the roof of their apartment building, then went to Occidental Square before going to the Seattle Municipal Court for their rooftop ceremony. Sitting in the foothills east of Seattle, Treehouse Point is filled with gorgeous trees, treehouses, and a beautiful creek running past the back of the property. Geordano played the guitar and sang for his bride as she came down the hill for the ceremony.

Read MoreYay for weddings! It has been a long time since I last had the opportunity to photograph a wedding. Michele and Mark were married at Willows Lodge with their immediate family in attendance. It was a gray and slightly sprinkly late winter day. They laughed a lot and the love amongst their family was obvious. Willows Lodge arranged for them to get married in the small library upstairs. Read MoreKathy and Nick planned to have a beautiful big wedding this summer. That didn’t work out with the pandemic and the restrictions on receptions. So they postponed their big party until next year and decided to do a micro wedding on the Washington coast. They chose the adorable little planned village of Seabrook in the Pacific, Washington area. We had planned on some images of the two of them taking off their shoes and playing in the water at sunset for some spectacular images. Then the smoke rolled in from Oregon and California for the weekend of their wedding. They had a fantastic attitude about it. They still got married, and they still had a great time with their friends. Your wedding either goes perfectly, or you have a great story to tell for the rest of your life!
