Washington Park Arboretum - Seattle Portrait Venue
Washington Park Arboretum is a beautiful place. The Graham Visitor Center is where the weddings normally take place. It is surrounded by trees and beautiful scenery. Very cool place for a ceremony as well as wedding photography. You can see some of my photographs at the Washington Park Arboretum below or visit their website for more information.
Heather and Aaron met me at the Washington Park Arboretum in Seattle for their engagement portraits. We walked all over the park as we talked and created some very cool portraits for them. Fantastic couple!
I met Lauren for the first time when she was around 3 when her family and mine moved into the same neighborhood. It is crazy and fun to see her as a full adult with a fiance and a career as a teacher. Anthony I met at the portrait session. He seems like a fun guy that makes Lauren laugh. Very cool couple. Check out some smoky fall day portraits at the Washington Park Arboretum in Seattle!
Shannon and Jeremy are a great couple and they made photographing their wedding day a joy! After some getting-ready images of Shannon and her crew, we went to the Washington Park Arboretum for the couple, family, and bridal party portraits. I love the Arboretum and all of the different places to photograph even if the fall leaves are a little delayed this year. Then, we went to the Imperia Lake Union for the wedding and reception. The Imperia Lake Union has a fantastic ceremony room and dancefloor area that makes for some super cool images. Also, I love night shots with their sign!
Steph and Shamele met on a dating app. She was on the Olympic Peninsula and he was in Seattle. Because they were not very far in a straight line, the app told them they were close to each other not taking into account there was a greater than two-hour drive between them. They made the effort to meet anyway, and it seems to have worked out!
We started at the Washington Park Arboretum for portraits with their pup. Then we went to the Seattle Municipal Court for a wedding with Judge Chess on the rooftop deck with their immediate families.
Kelly & Sean are getting married soon. But first, we created some engagement portraits at the Washington Park Arboretum! It was great to get to know them better and take some photographs in the sun!
I met Cecelia and her mom at the Washington Park Arboretum in Seattle for her senior portraits. She wants to major in history and loves some of the same nerdy podcasts that I like to listen to. It was a beautiful, but cold day that looked great in the photographs.
I have heard lots of cool stories about how couples met, but this one is definitely one of the most fun and interesting. James was the photographer for Sarah’s roller derby team when they did their annual charity calendar. How cool is that for a story?
They were married on a beautiful day at the Graham Visitor Center at the Washington Park Arboretum in Seattle.
Peter and Agata had a beautiful wedding at the Washington Park Arboretum in Seattle. They are a wonderful, warm, caring couple that are a joy to spend time with!
I met the W family at the Washington Park Arboretum for their family portraits this last fall. I photographed Josh & Jessica’s wedding in 2006, so it was amazing to see them and get a chance to meet their beautiful boys.
Here are a couple of families that I met at the Washington Park Arboretum for some kids and family portraits. I love photographing kids and families and there are so many great places around Seattle for the portrait sessions.
Several years ago, I photographed Kate and Pete’s wedding. Now I get to photograph their growing family. I met them at the Arboretum this year for their portraits.
Andisheh and Babek had their wedding at the Seattle Municipal Courthouse. I met them there just before their wedding with some of very close circle of friends. It was a pleasure to share in their joy and see how happy their friends were to see them married. After the ceremony, we walked around downtown Seattle before going to the Washington Park Arboretum for their portraits.
I met Kelli a few months ago by doing a headshot happy hour event. It was fun to meet her family and her miniature Gronkowski! It was great to take their family portraits.
I photographed Sarah and Ron's wedding a long time ago. It was so great to see them and meet their amazing little humans. We did a mini session at the Washington Park Arboretum with a combination of individual portraits of the kids and family portraits. So great to see them again!
I love being a continuing part of the lives of my clients as their families grow. We went to the Washington Park Arboretum for their family portraits with their three-year-old son just three days before they added a daughter to the family. So cool.
I first met Bennett about the time he learned to walk. Over the years I have taken photos of him and his family many times. Now he is in his senior year at Woodinville High School and looking at colleges. Very cool.
Aimee and Joel are a great couple. They both light up when they are around each other. They had a beautiful ceremony at the Lake Union Cafe, which is one of my favorite places to photograph a wedding. I think it has the coolest ceiling and chandeliers in Seattle. Before the ceremony, we went to Gas Works Park and the Washington Park Arboretum for portraits.
