Portraits of Lawyers in Seattle

I love creating portraits for lawyers. They, as a group, are always a bit conflicted about how they want to appear. They want to be stern and professional but also appear to be people that are pleasant and easy to work with for their clients. Getting that balance right can be difficult. I tend to prefer the friendlier images that show the friendlier side and that may be apparent in the gallery. Different law firms have varying requirements for what they want in their portraits. While some specify a studio portrait and sometimes even an exact color for the backdrop, a lot of my clients come to me because they want something a little more organic, storytelling, and interesting in their photography. Below is a gallery of portraits, headshots, and other images I have done for law firms in Seattle over the course of six months. While I’m at the office, I also create some corporate lifestyle, teamwork, culture, and facilities images.
