Pike Place Market - Portrait Venue
There are very few things as iconic in Seattle as Pike Place Market. Here are a few of the weddings and portrait sessions that have included a stop for photography at Pike's Market.
I met Josh and his dad at Pike Place Market in Seattle for some senior portraits. We walked around the market and down the stairs to the waterfront finding cool places along the way.
I met Emma, her mom, and her sisters at Pike Place Market for the beginning of her senior portrait shoot. Emma goes to Edmonds Woodway High School. After some images in the Market, we went down the stairs to the Aquarium where we had arranged to have a portrait session after hours. That was a very cool and fun place to shoot. We only had 30 minutes, but I could easily have spent three hours there. After our time at the Aquarium was up, we went next door to the new waterfront park for a few photographs before the darkness set it. It was great fun to photograph Emma!
I met Rebekah and her mom at Occidental Square in Seattle for her senior portraits. Then we walked around to find a few places in the area before heading to Pike Place for a few more.
A long time client of mine, Stephanie, contacted me last week to see if I was available on Sunday. She was helping plan her neice’s surprise proposal from her boyfriend. We planned a time on Sunday afternoon in the middle of the chaos of Pike Place Market for Matt to propose to Madeline. Check out their images!
I met this family at their new downtown apartment. We took some photographs in their building with a very similar view to what they have from their apartment.
I met Chef Shannon at Pike Place Market in Seattle for her new business portraits. It was a fun shoot to do. I really enjoy having the newer area of the market to work with so close to the more traditional feel of the place that is so vibrant.
Katie and Brian's winter wedding at the Seattle Aquarium with a stop at Pike Place Market for some portraits.
