Mariners vs. Rangers

26 years ago when I was a Sophomore in college I interned for a newspaper and shot sporting events all the time. I shot over 30 Sonics games that season. I also shot a couple of Mariners games as well as all kinds of high school sports. That was really the last time I shot professional sports. An uncle of a friend runs La Voz Hispanic newspaper, so I shot a Mariners game for them last night.
I went in with a plan. I wanted to do a few different things. The first is to capture how beautiful the stadium is and how it fits into the city. Second, I wanted to get some moments of peak action for a batter, the pitcher and in the field. The third is that I wanted to try to get something artistic. There are plenty of photographers at the place that have more experience and great sports equipment, so I wanted to try to create something different. And finally, I wanted to document it as an experience for me.
