First Covenant Church and Tyee Yacht Club - Lindsey & Jason

Posted on July 5, 2008

Lindsey and Jason were a lot of fun. Here is a peak at just four images from their wedding that traveled around Seattle!

First Covenant Church wedding in seattle
Here is the gorgeous interior of First Covenant Church which is just a few blocks from downtown.

Wedding mustang in seattle
Jason and Lindsey escaped in a classic, red, 1966 For Mustang. I love Lindsey’s expression!

Green color wedding shoes at Pike Place Market
Lindsey’s rockin’ green shoes.

Boat getaway from a wedding at the Tyee Yacht Club
Here is a amazing view from the Tyee Yacht Club dock as Jason and Lindsey make their getaway by boat.

More will be coming in the early part of next week!

I had a great time hanging out with Jen and Gregg taking portraits at Pike Place and the UW. Fun stuff.

A note for photographers. The image above and the image below were created using flash with Radiopoppers. The main advantage to Radiopoppers in my mind is the ability to change the manual flash settings on the remote flash from the on-camera flash. Saves walking and pushing buttons!

One more technical note for the photographer readers - All the images were processed in Lightroom and no commercial action sets were used.

Pike Place Market

Posted on June 30, 2008

Here are a couple random images from Pike Place Market. I hate being late, so I was running through the market (as best I could through the slow moving pedestrians) to make sure I was on time to my portrait session with Jen and Gregg. Therefore, I took two images. Amazingly enough, I liked them both!

    WOW!

Simply amazing album. Amazing everything; details, portraits, emotions, and moments.

Your design is simple, elegant, effective, and dramatic.

That Bride Logo
My last post about my Seattle Weddings Online website, must have struck a nerve! I have heard from several people thanking me for putting it up (and other photographers letting me know they thought I was smart). Also, Jenna from That Bride has posted a feature on my efforts on her website! That bride is the semi-personal, semi-bride helper website/blog that features all sorts of great ideas about weddings and features lots of fantastic photographers.Check out the story here.

Thanks Cory, I really appreciate what you are doing, and I hope you inspire other photographers to create something similar. I spent hours and hours poring over websites trying to find a venue (planning from out of state can be so frustrating!), knowing about this site could have made the whole process a lot easier for me!

    Excellent ideas, Cory.

I love the red shoes in your header photo! Off topic, I know, but I’d love something like that for my wedding day!

    Hi Cory

I came across your site by chance. I am a wedding photographer in Johannesburg South Africa. I love surfing photography websites and blogs and yours is no different. Thanks for such an insightful blog, it is very inspiring. Anyways, keep well and best regards from South Africa.
