—The new name of the Lake Union Cafe is Imperia Lake Union —-

Rachael & Aaron made their wedding into a two day event with ceremonies at the Edgewater Hotel on the waterfront and the cool, art deco styling of the Lake Union Cafe. Both their ceremonies were beautiful and heartfelt.

Before the ceremony on the first day, we walked down the waterfront to Bell Harbor. The weather was perfect. I really appreciate how much better the view is of Seattle from the waterfront now that the viaduct is no longer messing up the scene. The Edgewater has beautiful views of the water that could be seen during the ceremony. As a photographer, I really appreciated the amount of dynamic range new digital cameras have to get both the couple and the background.

On day two we were at the Lake Union Cafe, which is one of my favorite venues in Seattle. It has a very cool 1920’s inspired art deco style with a beautiful ceiling and hanging chandeliers. They had a much bigger group of people and a much bigger party.
